WORM is a golf app for rounds with friends. Keep score together, play games and track your Group’s standings and records across rounds. WORM stands for Worn-out, Overserved, Rusty or Mis-equipped. Optional day-of adjustments stay separate from your actual score.

No. WORM’s handicap and WORM Index are personal estimates. WORM does not issue an official GHIN Handicap Index or submit scores to GHIN.

Yes. Choose your course, add yourself and any friends or guests, then start. New scorecards support up to eight golfers. Games, custom rules and saving to a Group are optional.

Groups keep an ongoing crew’s standings, winnings and records together across rounds, with optional tournaments and Who’s playing requests. Choose Save to Group before starting a round. It connects eligible results to that Group; it does not add a roster of friends to your scorecard.

Add friends to a round and they can enter scores on the same live card in WORM. Guests can play without creating an account. When the round is finished, linked players review and approve their own scorecard for their history. Browser links are for following along, not editing scores.

Yes. The scorer can share a scorecard link that opens in a browser without an account or download. Anyone with that link can view what it permits. The scorer can stop sharing, and links expire.

Yes. Group owners and co-organizers can create individual stroke-play or Stableford tournaments using Gross, Handicap net or WORM net scoring, 9 or 18 holes, and one to ten rounds. Standings use eligible completed, approved entries. Scramble tournaments and match-play brackets are not currently supported.

Yes. Groups have seasonal challenges, standings and records. Depending on the settings, eligible personal rounds or Group rounds can count even when members play on different days. Participation and sharing apply going forward; old rounds are not automatically backfilled.

Follow golfers, share round scorecards with photos and captions, and react, comment or repost where permitted. Groups keep a recurring crew’s golf together. WORM does not provide direct messaging or Group chat.

Open Find distance from the scorecard, allow location, and tap a spot on the satellite map. WORM shows the approximate straight-line yardage from your phone. It updates while the map is open. GPS accuracy and satellite imagery affect the result; WORM does not identify the actual flag position.

Yes. Save your course and round setup while connected. After opening a shared card in a supported WORM build, both the host and linked players can save entries on their own device without reception. Pending changes are checked when the connection returns; overlapping edits need review. A shared round stays live until its finish is confirmed. Course search, map imagery and other online features need a connection.

No. WORM can record game results and balances, but it does not collect or transfer money, hold funds or collect debts. Only use game features where lawful.

New accounts are searchable by name and unique handle, and automatic highlights start with a Friends audience. You can change discovery and sharing in onboarding or Sharing & privacy. Private round backups are separate from the posts and invitations you choose to share.

Story photos are reviewed before other golfers can see them. Your scorecard can appear without its photo while it waits. If a photo is removed, choose a different appropriate photo. You can contact support to ask about a moderation decision.

The current iPhone beta is free with no subscription or paid feature gates. There is no Android app available yet. WORM is for adults 18 and older.

WORM is a free public iPhone beta through TestFlight. Open the invitation below, install Apple’s TestFlight app if prompted, then accept the invitation and install WORM.
