A personal golf club distance chart.
A useful yardage card starts with your own numbers. This free builder turns the distances you enter into a compact reference, with your club names and your preferred order.
Keep it simple with carry distances, or add total distances in a separate column. Use it for a full bag or just the clubs you have measured so far.
Build your card in three steps.
- Choose yards or meters and edit the clubs to match your bag.
- Enter carry distances and any total distances you know. Leave unknown numbers blank.
- Download the phone image, printable PDF, or spreadsheet CSV.
Changing units converts your existing numbers. It does not replace them with average golfer distances.
Club distance card questions
What is carry distance, and how is it different from total?
Carry is the distance the ball travels through the air. Total is the distance to where it comes to rest after landing. Keep them separate: the card gives carry its own column and shows total only when you enter it.
Does this calculate how far I should hit each club?
No. This builder organizes your own distances into a personal reference card. It does not estimate distance from age, handicap, club loft, or swing speed. The optional example is illustrative, not an average-distance chart.
How do I find my club distances?
Record several shots with each club using a launch monitor or your own measured on-course results. Keep carry and total measurements separate and note the conditions. Use a repeatable distance rather than your single longest shot. Update your card when you collect better measurements.
Can I use meters instead of yards?
Yes. Select meters before entering your distances, or switch units to convert the numbers already entered. The tool retains the underlying precision; the card displays up to one decimal place.
Can I rename clubs or leave distances blank?
Yes. Rename clubs to match your bag, add or remove rows, and move clubs into your preferred order. You can enter up to 14 clubs. Only named clubs with at least one distance appear in downloads. Leave a distance blank if you do not know it.
How do I print or save my distance card?
Download the PNG to keep an image on your phone. Download the PDF for a 4 × 6-inch card centered on a US Letter sheet with trim marks; print at Actual size or 100%. Download the CSV to open your distances in a spreadsheet.
Are my distances saved, and is the builder free?
The builder and all three exports are free, with no account required. Your entries stay in this browser tab and are not uploaded to WORM. Reloading or closing the page clears the card, so download a copy before leaving.
